The expression on this 10 year old’s face and his excitement cannot be matched! Quinn’s first time fishing (ever) and under the expert guidance of Capt Aussie Bob | Wombat Charters, Napa California his first two fish, ever. With regular customer “Mr Phil”, his friend Rodney and of course young Quinn – Rodney’s son.
Rodney had never fished before either and after a few lessons I left him to it and he was casting like a pro. He soon remarked to me that on this trip he shall be hereafter called “rod”.
It was a half day trip and we had to be back at the dock by lunchtime. The best bite was just after sunset but I had to move spots a couple of times first to find them.
